Titanfall's community manager Abbie Heppe has confirmed on Twitter that the Titanfall beta test is “not very limited”, and that “all you hardcore fans should not have a problem getting in.” While she did not explicitly state so, fans have inferred her tweet to mean that simply pre-ordering the game would provide gamers with access to the title.
She wrote the tweet in response to a comment suggesting that the beta test ought to be open to anyone with an Origin account on the PC.
Also on Twitter, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella said that they intend for all pre-orders to get codes, but that they are “not sure if we can.”
It’d be really neat if, at this point, Respawn Entertainment and EA Games were to simply release a press release announcing the dates for Titanfall’s upcoming beta test and how to get in, instead of providing a drip feed of Twitter posts.
Titanfall is slated for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Due to an exclusivity deal with Microsoft, there are no plans to bring the game to either the PS3 or the PS4.
