Easily one of the biggest video game titles coming out this year is Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red, the developers behind the popular The Witcher trilogy, has been working on this new RPG experience for players and today was the official Night City Wire video upload. The stream was made to offer fans a new look at the game along with some additional unveils. For now, take a look at the latest gameplay trailer showcased above.
As mentioned, this game trailer offers another look into Night City where we got a bit more information about what to expect. For instance, it seems that our protagonist is going after a special chip implant that will essentially give players eternal life. We’ve also been introduced to Jackie a friend of the protagonist who is after the same chip, but more about his background will likely be unveiled later on or simply within the game.
An interesting point that was given for Cyberpunk 2077 was the district outside of Night City. It seems that this game city is surrounded by a barren wasteland and within that area is nomads. You’ll get to traverse the world through a vehicle and it also seems that there should be some quest lines that could be picked up in the area as well. However, not too many details were offered in this section of the game.
Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to launch on November 19, 2020, it was pushed back from its September release date in order to offer the development team a bit more time to polish the title up from any bugs. In other news, it was confirmed that the title will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X if you purchase the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One titles. There is also said to be some upgrades as well, although details on just what those upgrades will be revealed at a later date.
