This is a guide for the StA25 Vlug for Killzone Shadow Fall.
The StA25 Vlug is a submachinegun manufactured by Stahl Arms and can be equipped by the Assault Class in multiplayer. It’s small bulletspread makes it ideal for close combat, but it can also be useful at medium range if you use burst fire.
The StA25 Vlug takes six hits to kill, and of course, only one if it’s a headshot. Its range is average, but one of the highest in its class. Close to medium range merits you with zero dropoff in damage. It has the biggest magazine capacity for submachineguns at 30 rounds, and a ROF of 600 rounds per minute. This does mean the gun requires constant reloads, also at a rapid 2.5 seconds.
The StA25 Vlug can use all the sights in the game, starting with the dot laser. From there, you can upgrade to the HGH Holo sight (1.2x magnification), and then the HGH Acog sight (1.6x magnification).You can also get two useful underbarrel attachments, the shotgun and the laser pointer.
The StA25 Vlug is a demon at close quarters, so the loadout needs to make the most out of its dangerous qualities. The obvious choices here are the HGH Holo Sight and the laser pointer. For sidearms, the LS12 Ripper with its burst fire attachment comes highly recommended. For explosives, pick the M194 Frag Grenade. Cooking the grenade so that enemies can’t get away from its blast radius is a serious bonus. Lastly, augment the default nanoshield with Stun Blast, to keep enemies at arm’s length.
