There was a time when Bandai Namco was certain Dark Souls 2 wouldn’t have DLC. The painfully difficult title is looking to give fans a full-bodied experience so that they’ll be satisfied without the need for additional content, but producer Takeshi Miyazoe told OXM that the game could be expanded if the fan feedback is there.
"There is definitely potential, I think," Miyazoe said at a recent preview event."Again, it's all about fan feedback. Right now we are concentrating on completing what we've got, but I think there are next steps on how we can expand on Dark Souls 2.
"So I'm not really ready to say look forward to more information, but I think the potential is definitely there."
Fans seem hungry for anything coming out of From Software, so it’s very likely that there will be enough noise from consumers to convince the development team to make more Dark Souls 2. Hopefully, we’ll get a solid date for the PC version of the game first.
