There’s a lot of hype and excitement for this year. 2020 is the year in which we are getting the next-generation video game consoles both from Sony and Microsoft. While there has been plenty of low moments of 2020, for gamers, having a new platform to enjoy some next-generation video game titles gives us something to look forward to. However, there’s plenty of questions left unanswered for both platforms. Recently, some listings appeared on Amazon that gave an insight into what we can expect for the next-generation PlayStation 5 console in terms of video games.
Today we’re finding out that the listings were posted by an error and not anything official. This comes just hours before the big PlayStation 5 event which is supposed to offer some video game reveals for the platform. The platform is rumored to have plenty of great video game titles in the works such as a reboot to the Silent Hill franchise, but nothing has been officially confirmed and we’re hopeful that in today’s stream, we’ll at least be able to get some details of these supposedly leaked titles.
At any rate, Amazon’s listings were not confirmed and any titles or even platform details such as the models set to be available along with their price points are simply placeholders. These placeholders are often the case of excitement for fans as we’ve seen plenty of game release dates get leaked from these placeholders only to be confirmed that they were simply added in until the official release date is announced.
For now, we’ll have to wait for the PlayStation 5 stream that is set to happen at 4:00 PM EST today in order to find out what video game titles will be coming out for the platform likely either at launch or soon after.
