This is a guide for the Bulldog in Call of Duty Ghosts.
The Bulldog is a truly unique gun. Electrified rounds are blasted out of replaceable barrels. The Bulldog is capable of one shot kills up close, but because of the nature of its rounds, that’s the only range it can hurt targets.
Rate of fire is high in its class at 480 rounds per minute. As you would expect, hipfire is excellent, so much so that you need only fire first when an enemy comes close. Focusing on your targets is 99 % unnecessary.
The Bulldog has high recoil and quick aim time, but these don’t really affect gameplay in a big way. Full mobility means you can run around the map like a one man killing machine.
As you might have guessed, magazine capacity is very sparse at 6 rounds per magazine, 9 rounds for extended magazines. Reload time is fast at 2.60 seconds, as you literally swap out your shotgun barrel. In spite of that speed, its important to manage your rounds carefully.
For the Bulldog, your choice of Perks and attachments are all about enabling you get up close to your enemy and maximizing the damage you can deal out. Obviously, extended magazines are the first thing you want out the gate. The muzzle brake will extend its range to as far as it can possibly go, and it can make the difference between injuring and killing your target.
Choose Ready Up and Steady Aim to increase the chances you get those one shot kills. Marathon will have you playing Deathstalker all over the map. Off The Grid and Dead Silence will extend that roleplay further, as your enemies won’t know when you are coming for them.
The Bulldog is an all or nothing weapon. If you’ve got the nerve for such a risky play, pick this one and strike before they get a chance to strike back.
