Uncharted is one of the biggest, most popular video game franchises of the last generation, and it’s poised to make a return on the PlayStation 4. With little however to show, fans of the series are in for a long wait as Naughty Dog gears up for the next game in the series—tentatively titled Uncharted 4.
To that end, a British short film production company Genesis Flux has put together a short film inspired by the Uncharted series called Sophie’s Fortune (as opposed to Drake’s Fortune). If you’ve a couple minutes to spare, the trailer’s well worth the watch. The main character’s even dressed like Nathan Drake.

Brendan gets involved in a 'Fathers only' treasure hunt for the sake of his 7 year old niece Sophie. But what Brendan begins to realise is that the parents imagination may have gotten the better of them and it might not be so easy bringing home Sophie's Fortune. This film can be described as "Indiana Jones" meets "The Goonies" with it's fun and fantastical take on action and excitement.
This has been a grueling collaboration between all departments of the cast and crew aiming for that slight chance that we could do something on a blockbuster level. We hope you enjoy what we came up with!
