A new report from The Hollywood Reporter states that Sony is currently working on a live-action adaptation of the hit anime — One Punch Man.
Yes, One Punch Man is currently getting set up as a live-action movie and a lot of us are scratching our heads wondering — why? But the other half is extremely excited to see what Sony manages to cook up with the source material.
According to THR, Sony has picked Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, the duo known for Jumanji: The Next Level and Venom to screenwrite the movie. There is no official announcement from Sony about the movie’s existence, but with the news spreading like wildfire on the internet, Sony might have to in the next couple of weeks or so.
As I just mentioned since there is no official word from Sony yet, there is no release window, actors, or even director attached to the move just yet. However, stick with gameranx as we will be covering this upcoming movie very closely.
