South Park: The Stick of Truth hasn’t had the easiest journey to release. What first started as a THQ project has now become the publishing responsibility for Ubisoft and after multiple delays pushing the game out of 2013, one final hiccup will force the Obsidian RPG to a March 7 launch.
How much of a delay is this? About as small of one as you can get. The previously noted date was March 4, but apparently that’s just not the case anymore, according to Eurogamer. At this point, it’s just amazing that the game is actually coming out, since Ubisoft US boss Laurent Detoc previously stated that the team had to “turn this thing upside down” to make it what everyone wanted.
"It's been such a major overhaul to get to the point where we are that we couldn't let it go, even if that meant missing December,” Detoc said.
You’ll get all your fart jokes and Kenny deaths in just about two months.
