This is a guide for the StA19 Reigner in Killzone Shadow Fall.
All three multiplayer classes can use the StA19, and it is also a default gun of the Helghast in story mode. It is easily recognizable thanks to its resemblance to the Luger.
The StA19 can kill in four shots, or one headshot. That damage drops off rapidly at a distance, rendering it nearly useless for long range shots. The StA19 can carry 12 rounds at any one time, so that you can theoretically take two to three enemies without reloading. Its rate of fire is 265 rounds per minute, which is good in comparison to other sidearms like it. Reloads last 2.8 seconds.
Believe it or not, being a sidearm, the StA19 actually has attachment options. Obviously, the dot sight is the only optical attachment you will get to use for it. Now, you can attack the flashlight, effective at stunning enemies and making them more prone to your attacks. Interestingly, the flashlight also improves your own hipfire accuracy.
The laser pointer is also a tenable choice, increasing hipfire accuracy and reducing the spread of bullets caused by recoil. Finally, the silencer will make it that much easier to hide from opponents.
Whatever class you use, you should familiarize yourself with the StA19, especially if you are a beginner since it is available to all, and it is a good general choice. If you do nothing else with it, increase hipfire accuracy by adding a laser pointer to it.
