Good news if you’re looking to start off the New Year a few pounds lighter – the retailer version of Wii Fit U will be launching on Nintendo’s latest console Jan. 10. The product will require a Wii Balance Board accessory, which could either be your existing board or the latest model. The full bundle that includes the game, a balance board, and a Fit Meter accessory will be available in stores for $90.
"Wii Fit U is a great option for busy moms and families who want to stay active in the comfort of their own homes–which is perfect during the cold winter months," Nintendo of America marketing executive Scott Moffitt said.
A free trial of the fitness program was offered on the Wii U back in November, and that offer will extend until Jan. 31. After that, you’ll just have to fork over the cash if you hope to get in shape the Nintendo way.
