The development team behind EA Sports UFC continues to reveal the roster of this early 2014 game with another MMA star, Chael Sonnen. Sure, he might not have the technical prowess of previous entries like Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones, but what Sonnen lacks in skill he more than makes up for in pure, unadulterated trash talk.
That’s not to say that the self-proclaimed “Gangster of West Linn” can’t roll with the best of ‘em. Sonnen has fought for the title twice at middleweight and once at light heavyweight, but what’s made the wrestling expert such a star is his quick wit and ability to get under the skin of his opponents. He’s the proud owner of some of the best lines in the business.
“I like easy fights. So if I could fight Anderson and then rematch Anderson again, that'd be nice,” he said of Anderson Silva, who’s considered the greatest fighter of all time. “If I could get Vitor Belfort or just anyone that sucks, that's what I wanna do. I look for the easy matches, not the hard ones.”
He’s a true character, and just another name on what’s sure to be a massive roster in EA Sports UFC.
