Killzone Shadow Fall Patch adds Voice Chat, Fixes Exploits

December 23, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Killzone Shadow Fall patch bringing public game voice chat and colorblind modes.

The December Killzone Shadow Fall update arrives on the PlayStation 4 bringing public game voice chat and a number of bug fixes. Guerrilla Games discussed the update for a while now as the studio continues to work on other fixes or additions for future updates.

With the addition of voice chat, players can also mute all people through the menus or mute specific people who refuse to lower the music blaring in the background. The update also brings a colorblind mode, increased running speed while cloaked and a suicide option within the menus. You can read the full patch notes here.

Guerrilla continues to investigate a number of areas for the Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer. Although players complain of the strength of mobile turrets, Guerrilla won't make any changes until they explore all aspects.

The Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer releases as a free download for PS4 owners this weekend.
