Sony and Guerrilla Games want every PlayStation 4 owner, including those who patiently waited for Christmas Day, to try the Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer next weekend.
Similar to the free weekends offered on Steam, players can download the Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer free from the PlayStation store. The free weekend runs from December 28 through December 31. To squeeze every second out of the free weekend, PlayStation Plus members can now begin pre-loading the multiplayer.
Guerrilla Games continues to support Shadow Fall as a December update aims to bring voice chat to public matches. Although players could form party chats with friends using PlayStation 4 features, the lack of voice chat in public lobbies prevented teamwork with strangers.
PlayStation 4 owners now require a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online.
