Dark Souls 2 Into the Light Comic Launching January

December 18, 2013 by Stephen Daly

Comic launching on January 8th and be revealed in ‘weekly updates’.

Namco Bandai and FromSoftware have announced Dark Souls 2: Into the Light, a comic series based on the upcoming game.

Writing on the Dark Souls 2 Facebook page Namco Bandai commented:

"Dark Souls 2: Into the Light, the comic based on the thrilling universe of Dark Souls 2 will be revealed through weekly updates starting from January 8th."

You'll be able to check out additions to the comic here. The comic will be written by Rob Williams and Andi Ewington.

Earlier today the game's director Yui Tanimura apologised for saying that Dark Souls 2 will be "more accessible" saying:

"First of all, we apologise for using the word ‘accessible’ and misleading the fans. By ‘accessible’, what we mainly meant was going through the process of streamlining and carving away the fat to more clearly communicate the true essence of Dark Souls."

Darks Souls 2 is set for release on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in March.
