Ubisoft has a new trailer for Ghost Recon Online, a free to play first person shooter that probably shouldn't be confused for the upcoming Future Soldier.
Much like Battlefield: Free to Play, GRO relies on a set up where players can unlock new weapons, upgrades and abilities as they play. These items can also be unlocked for cash. Players can choose between Assault, Recon and Specialist classes, each of which is defined by a single main ability, although little information is known about the classes at this point.
Unlike other online games, GRO stays true to its roots by offering cover-based, third-person combat. The game only goes into first person mode when players aim down their sights.
Much like other Ghost Recon titles, GRO's gameplay encourages players to play as a team, by offering passive bonuses to players in close range with each other. Additionally, each of the game's classes is designed to accommodate cooperative behavior.
Players can sign up for Ghost Recn Online at the official website.
