Nuketown Map From Black Ops Recreated for GTA Online is Wicked Awesome

December 17, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

One of Call of Duty: Black Ops’s most popular maps has been remade for GTA Online.

Nuketown is one of the most popular maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops. It’s been remade once in Black Ops 2, and today, it’s been remade for none other than Grand Theft Auto Online.

The map creator, whose username is LiarInGlass, says that the first map he wanted to make with GTA Online’s Content Creator (which just got released) was Nuketown.

He writes, “After seeing a member post a recreation of Shipment from CoD4, and a fellow member mention Nuketown again, I decided to recreate Nuketown with my own minor tweaks and scale changes for GTA:O. This is my recreation of Nuketown for 360 players.”

Here are the details of the map:

Scale is a bit larger, a few extra houses because of the location I picked.
Homes cannot be entered, but many garages/rooftops are accessible, as well as backyards.
I tried to create a decent boundary, although it's easy to get outside of the original boundary intended.
Starting weapons are Assault Rifles.
Additional weapon pickups are: SMGs, Pump Shotguns, Grenades and Sticky Bombs (both accessible a little out of sight. Use your brain and look around!)
Also included are Health and Armor pickups.
Time Limit is 10 minutes.
Maximum players is 12 (6×6)

Images of the Nuketown in GTA:O can be seen below.

To play the map, simply head on over to the Rockstar website and click Add to Game. Load GTA:O, and find LiarInGlass Team Deathmatch on your map near the right side of San Andreas above the highway.
