Ubisoft previously announced a next generation release for Rayman Legends during Ubisoft conference call. Today Ubisoft confirmed their next-gen releases with a February 25 release date.
With the next-gen hardware, Ubisoft promises shorter load time between levels. For each console, their hardware also allows for unique content. Xbox One users receive 10 new challenges to complete for limited-time achievements, whereas PlayStation 4 players can rub the controller's touchpad to scratch Lucky Tickets.
The new releases also include custom character costumes from other Ubisoft games like Splinter Cell, Far Cry and Assassin's Creed.
