Battlefield 4 is more broken today than it was yesterday. After one of the shakiest launches in recent memory, Battlefield 4 added the China Rising DLC for Battlefield Premium subscribers only to see a new suite of problems affect Xbox One and Xbox 360 users.
What’s wrong with the game this time? The official Xbox website advises its users that "purchase and content usage" is currently limited on Xbox platforms, with work being done right now to solve the problems.
"Hi Xbox members, are you having difficulties trying to get the new China Rising map pack for Battlefield 4? We are currently working with our partner to get this issue resolved," Microsoft said. "Thanks for all your patience while we work. We'll update you when work is complete."
The fun doesn’t stop there, though. EA has listed multiple bugs and glitches affecting the fresh content, as well as connection issues that are forcing players out of games just seconds after they start. It’s a bit of a mess, but yes, there is a fix being worked on.
"While exploring new battlegrounds in the Battlefield 4 expansion, China Rising, you may run into an occasional hiccup, issue, glitch, or problem that could interrupt or prohibit your gameplay," EA said.
Let’s just hope the people at DICE eventually find some time to sleep. Look to hear more on the game’s woes in the near future.
