Dying Light: Bad Blood Now Available For Free

January 28, 2020 by Dennis Patrick

Secure your copy as long as you own Dying Light.

Dying Light from development studio Techland released back in 2015. It offered a more gritty zombie experience compared to the Dead Island franchise. With an emphasis on parkour skills and using melee combat to take out the enemy, the IP was generally well-received by gamers. In fact, the game sparked enough attention that the studio was able to go back and work on a sequel. With that said, there was some extra content that was delivered to Dying Light fans with the PC release of Dying Light: Bad Blood.

For those of you who may not be aware of the title, this is a battle royale game that has been in early access on Steam. Essentially, 12 players are tossed into the map where they must fight off enemies, seek resources out along with weapons. Just like any traditional battle royale game, there can only be one survivor at the end.

It’s up to players if they wish to team up and work together for a period before turning the fight against each other. While the game has been around since 2018, the title has yet to make it out of early access. Likewise, for fans wanting to jump into the next installment, Dying Light 2 was recently delayed and it’s uncertain just when the game will finally make its way out into the market. This could have been the incentive to keep players interested in the franchise as Techland recently announced that the Dying Light: Bad Blood is available for free.

To clarify, Dying Light: Bad Blood is free to those that already own a copy of Dying Light. If you own a copy and want to secure your copy of Dying Light: Bad Blood, then you need to head over to the Dying Light docket site and go through the prompts.
