Persona 5 Royal Latest Trailer Showcases All of the Phantom Thieves, More Details on Newest Character — Kasumi Yoshizawa

Arianne Advincula Communications Manager at Sega of America took to the PlayStation Blog to release a new trailer for their highly anticipated title, Persona 5: Royal!

The new trailer is aimed to give viewers a fresh look at our heroes – -The Phantom Thieves. If you have not played Persona 5 or would like to refresh your memory, the trailer showcases all of the lovable characters in action one by one. In addition to the new trailer, we also get some new details about the latest character to join the Phantom Thieves — Kasumi Yoshizawa.

Thanks to the PlayStation Blog, the latest character to join the Phantom Thieves, Kasumi Yoshizawa has been detailed. Down below is a brief description about the character as well as her voice actor, metaverse costume and more:

Voice Actor: Laura Post

Kasumi is a transfer student who enrolls at Shujin Academy at the same time as the protagonist. Because she’s been an award-winning gymnast since middle school, Shujin Academy has high hopes for her future.

Her Metaverse costume was intentionally designed to mirror Joker’s style with her all black outfit and red gloves.

If you are new to Persona 5, all the characters seen from the trailer above is part of the Phantom Thieves. Each one with their own unique reasons to join the group. Check out the full list of playable characters in Persona 5: Royal down below:

  • Protagonist (“Joker”)
  • Yusuke Kitagawa (“Fox”)
  • Ryuji Sakamoto (“Skull”)
  • Ann Takamaki (“Panther”)

In related news, the highly anticipated title is officially set to release on March 31, 2020 for PS4 consoles. The critically acclaimed title will come revamped thanks to the new Royal edition, which will be filled with a new character, new locations, suits, stories, and much more.

The royal edition of Persona 5 already released in Japan back in September, however, Western users are now finally with an official release date. Make sure to check out the special editions for Persona 5: Royal right here!
