New The Walking Dead Season Two Image Reveals Returning Character

December 2, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Hope you’re ready for more drama, because Season Two of The Walking Dead starts this month.

Look, I don’t know if I’m ready to go through another season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. The episodic adventure game stands as one of my favorite experiences of the last generation, but… damn, I don’t think I’ve recovered from all the heartache and frayed nerves suffered during the last five episodes. Unfortunately, we’re all running out of time to see what will happen to Clementine next, as a new Tweet from the developer's Twitter account both confirms a December release for Season Two and shows one returning character.

Note: there will be spoilers here, so if you haven’t completed the first season, just go play it. You’ll thank me later.

"All That Remains," the next episode in the series set to launch later this month, will feature the return of Omid – the always-positive member of the group who was one of the few key characters to survive. Lee trusted Omid and his partner, Christa, to take care of Clem if anything ever went wrong, so it’ll be interesting to see if the couple holds to that promise. With just about every Season One character kicking the bucket in that depressing fifth episode, you should expect plenty of fresh faces added to the two that have been confirmed.

This is a series that grabbed some serious attention throughout the industry, and plenty of people have spent time examining its use of emotion since last year. Thankfully, we can stop looking toward the past and start getting excited for the future when Season Two hits downloadable markets this month.
