January 16, 2020 by Dennis Patrick

Fight!

Mortal Kombat is quite the iconic fighting video game franchise. For decades its been around offering gamers a chance to pummel each other using a variety of unique characters. However, over the years the franchise has really blown up and gained popularity around the world. It’s with this popularity that we are seeing guest fighters sneak into the latest installments and for Mortal Kombat 11, today we’re finally getting the trailer reveal of the Joker.

We knew for a good while now that the iconic Batman nemesis and DC supervillain the Joker was going to be entering the battle in Mortal Kombat 11. This was part of the DLC character pack that allowed various newcomers to show up within the game and yesterday, NetherRealm Studios’ official Mortal Kombat Twitter account had made the announcement of the trailer dropping today.

With the trailer out now and embedded above, you can see how the character will play when the character finally becomes available for the game on January 28, 2020, for early access with the full release being February 4, 2020.

Being such an iconic character, we imagine that there will be plenty of players quickly taking the plunge into trying the character out along with seeing just what characters are a good mix when they are forced to face against him. For those of you who haven’t already picked up a copy of the game, Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
