LEGO: The Hobbit Game Confirmed for Early 2014

November 25, 2013 by Stephen Daly

The game is headed to most platforms in Spring and features the first two Hobbit movies.

Warner Bros. has confirmed last week's leak of LEGO: The Hobbit from TT Games with the game headed to most platforms in Spring, 2014.

The game includes the first two films of The Hobbit; An Unexpected Journey, and the Desolation of Smaug. It's unclear if another game will be released at a later date featuring the final movie – There and Back Again.

Tom Stone, TT Games' managing director, commented:

“We are thrilled to depict the characters and environments of Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth in LEGO form with the LEGO The Hobbit videogame. Our family-friendly take on these thrilling adventures will have kids and parents playing and laughing together as they build and explore in LEGO Middle-earth.”

LEGO: The Hobbit is headed to PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Mac, 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. TT Games has already ventured into Tolkien's universe with LEGO: The Lord of the Rings.

Below are the first screens from the game.
