Playstation’s Shuhei Yoshida and Adam Boyes sent a hearty congratulations to members of the Xbox One team on the launch of their console, in what I hope everyone will start to call the SuperBowl of Love of Consoles.
Adam Boyes sent out the initial volley, congratulating Major Nelson, Phil Harrison, Albert Penello, and Phil Spencer. In a follow up tweet, he also sent congratulations to Matt Booty, Chris Charla, and Eric Neustadter.

Guys, we may all get worked up on what we like to call the console wars, but at the end of the day, everyone in the industry would be happy just seeing the gaming industry succeed. Whatever your platform of choice, it’s instructive to remember that as cutthroat as competition can get, everybody who works at Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, Rockstar, etc., they all love video games. That’s the reason they all got into this industry, and why we love them.
In truth, you should hope that all the consoles (Playstation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, the upcoming Steam Box) all find great success, because in the long run, who is number one does not matter as much as having a thriving gaming business for all. Besides, the real enemy is tablets and smartphones, which will never be as good as consoles or PCs for gaming.
Anyway, one last time, let's look at Playstation and Xbox congratulating each other for the succesful launches of their newest consoles.
Congrats @Playstation. From, #Xbox. pic.twitter.com/XnQIzXIHQ9
