David Whitfield Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment took to the PlayStation Blog today to announce a brand new Netflix-related tie-in game to the critically acclaimed series The Dark Crystal Age: Resistance.
Titled The Dark Crystal Age: Resistance Tactics, players should expect to jump into the Dark Crystal universe to recruit new allies, customize their forces by assigning them jobs and outfitting them with new equipment in order to surve the harsh world of Thra.
This will be a great title for both fans of the franchise and newcomers alike as En Masse Entertainment is pushing the story further into the Dark Crystal Age lore with new stories and never before seen characters. If you’re a fan of tactic strategy games or the iconic Dark Crystal Age franchise, I would keep an eye on this specific title.

With The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, our goal was to reimagine the world of The Dark Crystal as a classic, tactical strategy game. The game is shaping up nicely, promising strategic depth for genre veterans, while remaining approachable for those newer to turn-based tactical games.
We’re excited that gamers of The Dark Crystal alike will get to experience the fantasy world of Thra by playing through, and going beyond, the events of the Netflix Original series. Players will even encounter never-before-seen playable characters, stories, and environments.
In related Netflix news, thanks to a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the star of the upcoming series — Henry Cavill — shared a new scene from the show.
The fight scene if short, but it is surely epic. Cavill seems to have the posture of Geralt down to the tee and the action looks to be on point too. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich stated plenty of times before that Cavill was born to play the role, and with them setting up for multiple seasons, hopefully the community thinks the same.
