It's no secret that Minecraft is coming to the PlayStation Vita, but as to which version of the game will be making its way over as a port remained a mystery until Jens "Jeb" Bergernsten provided an answer in a reddit questionnaire.
"I replied to this question elsewhere," wrote Bergernsten. "Short answer is that the Vita will use the code base for consoles, and not from Pocket Edition."
Gamers picking up Minecraft for the PS Vita can rest assured that they will be getting the "good" version of the game and not the handicapped Pocket Edition that was released for mobile devices.
