Supermassive Games Announce New Friend’s Pass for Man of Medan; Curator’s Cut Now Available for Free

November 27, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

Hurry though, it’s a limited time offer!

Supermassive Games announced today that they will be implementing a new update for their recently released horror title, Man of Medan, which will allow users to share the game with their friends!

Titled the Friends Pass, users who own the critically acclaimed game, will be allowed to share the game with one of there friends. Now you and your friend could go through the epic story of Man of Medan together, and if you never played the game before, this will be super fun for the both of you! And the best news of it all is that only one of you will need to own the game.

However, I should note that this is a limited time offer, so if you have a friend who is interested in the game, don’t wait too long! The new update is set to release on all platforms on November 27th.

Check out the new Friend’s Pass trailer for Man of Medan down below:

Thankfully James Scalpello, Marketing Director at Supermassive games went into detail about the friends pass and how easy it is to start up. Check out the highlights down below:

What does your friend need to do? Again, very simple. Just make sure they download the Trial version of the game, which can easily be found on the Digital Store. Xbox Live Gold / PS Plus is required for both players to experience the full game together using Friend’s Pass.

Once you have the latest version of the game running, and your friend has the Trial version running, you are ready to start. If you are the owner of the full game simply go into the main menu, select Don’t Play Alone and choose Shared Story. You will be prompted as the host to invite your friend and you will be asked if you want to use your Friend’s Pass. Once your invitation is accepted you can experience an entire playthrough of the Shared Story mode with your friend! Please note that once you have used your Friend’s Pass it will have been consumed and no longer be available.

In addition to the new Friend’s Pass announcement, Supermassive Games also announced that the pre-order bonus — The Curator’s Cut, will be available for free for everyone starting today! The Curator’s Cut allows players to try alternate paths and outcomes to see how the story can vastly change, however, payers will have to have completed the main story.

Man of Medan is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you planning to play the title again with a friend? Or you going to go through the curator’s cut of the game? Let us know in the comments below!
