Square Enix has revealed plans to release a hybrid live action/CGI commercial to promote the upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The commercial is set to air in Japan on November 16.
Intriguingly, the commercial will focus on Lightning's ability to change costumes during battle. The publisher shared three pictures—screen captures of the commercial and a behind-the-scenes look at Lightning's cosplayer.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is slated for a February 11, 2014 release in the United States. It'll be out much earlier on November 22, 2013 in Japan. It'll be out on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
