BioShock Infinite gave people plenty of good reasons to get excited about floating cities earlier this year, but don’t think that Irrational Games is done delivering stories starring Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth. Part one of Burial at Sea, the first real piece of DLC for this story-drive FPS, is almost here, and the content promises plenty of new thrills and chills from your favorite submerged city, Rapture. It’s additional hours of narrative that plenty of fans have been begging the development team for, and we’ve got the first 15 minutes of gameplay for your viewing pleasure now that the DLC is available.
Yes, the content launches today for the millions of fans who own the game, but this is your chance to see what Burial at Sea has to offer before you sink $15 into it. Of course, if you just so happen to own the Season Pass, this isn’t the video for you, but any other BioShock fan might just want to see what the hubbub is all about before becoming financially invested. As you’d expect, there are major spoilers in the video above. If you know you’re going to buy the DLC no matter what, avoid the video like the plague.
This is just part one, so expect to see more from this old-yet-new setting down the line. Next-generation consoles might be just around the corner, but BioShock Infinite is one of the many good reasons to not pack up all that old hardware just yet.
