Killzone Shadow Fall Enlists a Shadow Marshall

November 11, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Shadow Marshalls control a remote combat drone using the DualShock 4 touchpad.

As a Shadow Marshall in Killzone Shadow Fall, players can complete a number of objectives in any order with the help of the Owl.

Using the Tactical Echo ability, sonar waves reveal any surrounding enemies. Once players locate an enemy solider, placing the crosshair over the silhouette details any strengths or weaknesses. To dispatch these enemies, a flying combat drown – the Owl – can shoot at selected targets through commands issued on the DualShock 4 touchpad.

The Owl performs many actions that even help players traverse the environment. The Owl can setup an instant zip line to help players reach high ground or cross large canyons. Once on the ground, the Owl can deploy shields, attack enemies and stun soldiers. Depending on the situation, the Owl can help players execute a variety of strategies.

Killzone Shadow Fall launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4, yet players can remotely play the first-person shooter on the PS Vita handheld.

Killzone Shadow Fall launches this Friday alongside the PS4 on November 15th.
