If you just so happen to own a Vita, you likely haven’t been able to sign in to the PlayStation Network over the past few days. Any games that are tied to the internet will ask you to sign in, automatically sign you out, and continue to ask you to try to connect in a frustrating loop. This is all being caused by newly updated Terms of Service, which Sony has issued before the upcoming PlayStation 4 launch.
This bug has made it so that users cannot accept the terms, which means that logging in at all has become difficult. However, a few steps can be taken to solve the problem and play all your favorite mobile games without wanting to throw your Vita through the bus window.
Just follow these steps (via CVG), and all will be well:
· Visit the PlayStation website on any browser (including the Vita's own web browser)
· Click the 'Sign In' option in the top right corner
· Enter your PSN credentials in the box that appears and sign in
· You should then be prompted to accept the updated Terms of Service
· Once accepted, return to your Vita and sign in as normal
This should do the trick for the now cheaper handheld system, but if you’re still having trouble, you can expect an official fix in the near future.
