Diablo 4 Has Been Officially Announced

Nov 1, 2019 Dennis Patrick

After rumors and leaks, Blizzard makes Diablo 4 official.

It’s been a long running video game series and going into BlizzCon 2019, there was plenty of speculation that Blizzard would make the Diablo 4 announcement. Well, luckily for Diablo fans, that speculation came true and we got our first trailer and statements about the upcoming dungeon crawler. Though, remember, this is just the first announcement so the news is still a bit scarce at the moment.

Last year, BlizzCon failed to impress the Diablo fan base with their announcement of Diablo Immortal. This was a mobile smartphone title that many had assumed would the next mainline installment to the franchise. Now today during BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard Entertainment is not making the same mistake as they had officially unveiled Diablo 4. The gameplay is going back to the traditional isometric RPG action and it’s said to be a dark and demonic style game that we’re used to seeing from the series.

So far, we know that there are three classes available, which are the Druids, Barbarians and lastly, the Sorceress. Visually, the game looks dark and we’re sure that veterans are eager to get their hands on the game, though we don’t know just when it will officially release. We do know that the development team has been working on the installment for a good while and it’s even playable at BlizzCon 2019 on the show floor. With that said, you can take a look at the initial announcement trailer for Diablo 4 posted right up above.
