Gears 5 will be getting brand new Halloween themed content just in time for the holiday, developer Coalition Studios announced today.
The new content titled “Mad Man’s Monster” is currently available to download right now and is a 20 wave Horde mode and will see the Cog Soldiers fighting off the Swarm in a spooky fashion. The Swarm will be wearing Juvie Pumpkin Heads, Frankenstein monsters and Sirens.
Coalition is offering players who complete 60 waves of this Horde mode exclusive Jack-o-Lantern weapon skins. If you are interested in completing this challenge, you must do it before November 4th. The challenge will not be easy, you and your squad must be ready and equipped to handle the horde, otherwise you will get demolished, in Halloween fashion!
In addition to the new Halloween themed festivities, Coalition Studios also are tuning and making some fixes to the game. Here’s what’s new this week in Gears 5.
