Some gamers are wary about getting a next-generation console at launch out of fear that there won't be much games and services available yet. Today, Sony attempts to address that issue by launching 11 digital entertainment applications on the PlayStation 4 at launch through an announcement in their blog.
These are the apps that will be available on November 15th:
- Amazon Instant Video
- Crackle
- Crunchyroll
- EPIX
- Huku Plus
- NBA Game Time
- NHL GameCenter LIVE
- Redbox Instant by Verizon
- VUDU
- YuppTV
It was also noted that more applications will be introduced in the future in addition to their announced lineup. In other Sony related news, we posted a video showing an inside look at the PS4's hardware and Sony filing a patent for a virtual reality interface.
