Ubisoft has revealed in their official blog that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has gone gold for Windows. Subsequently, they have revealed several editions of the game as well as additional deals available for purchase.
So, the standard edition is available online and in retail. The retail deluxe edition has an hour of gameplay courtesy of Aveline, and is also available online and in retail. Uplay’s deluxe edition adds the Pride of the West Indies pack to the new Aveline level.
The Season Pass is available for $ 19.99, saving you 20 % on DLC released before March next year. The Uplay deluxe edition will cut the Season Pass price down to $ 14.99. The Season Pass will apparently include a three hour mission called Freedom Cry, as well as a Kraken Ship Pack that adds personalization options to the Jackdaw. Freedom Cry will revolve around supporting character and Jackdaw crew member Adewale.
It would seem the best deal, really, is the one brokered with Nvidia, for PC maker enthusiasts or people planning to build PCs for next gen. You can get Assassin’s Creed 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist free with a purchase of these Nvidia GeForce GTX cards: 660, 670, 680, 690, 760, 770, 780, 780 Ti, and Titan. On the side, Nvidia has also worked with Warner Interactive to also give away Batman: Arkham Origins for free for buyers of a GeForce GTX 770, 780, 780 Ti or Titan.
