During a September 2018 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is being developed for the Nintendo Switch. After Luigi’s friends are captured during a holiday stay gone wrong, players will once again have to battle a swarm of ghosts all over again. Now we’re finally getting close to its release date and it has plenty of fans eager to pick up a copy.
With that said, there is one element that will be new to the franchise and that’s the ScreamPark which will be a multiplayer mode. In this game mode, players will be battling against each other in a series of mini-games, much like the Mario Party franchise. Those that gain the most points will win the match.
Nintendo has recently uploaded some gameplay footage showcasing what to expect with the ScreamPark mode. For instance, you can take a look at some gameplay for the Ghost Hunt, Cannon Barrage and Coin Floating mini-games. Again, these are simply mini-games that can be enjoyed outside of the main campaign. Currently, Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2019.
