Call of Duty: Ghosts FOV Mod Takedown Requested by Activision

November 5, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

The Call of Duty: Ghosts FOV mod taken down as requested by Activision.

After we reported that Call of Duty: Ghosts players could safely download the field-of-view mod without bans from Infinity Ward or Valve, Activision requested that FourDeltaOne takedown the FOV mod.

On the PC mod's download page, the now absent download link states that Activision requested a removal of the mod. The FOV mod shrank the screen size to allow for a greater field of vision in the first-person perspective.

If you absolutely want the mod, the FourDeltaOne forum thread may turn up results, but Gameranx does not take any responsibility for possible damages.

Call of Duty: Ghosts launched today on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.
