State of Decay Rots on Steam November 5

November 1, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

State of Decay exits early access and releases as a full version next week.

PC players can already slay zombies in an early access version of State of Decay, but on November 5th Undead Labs officially releases the full version on Steam.

Throughout the PC development of State of Decay, Undead labs improved performance for the PC version. The early access build unfortunately only supported Xbox 360 controllers or other third-party controllers. Undead labs eventually addressed the lack of keyboard and mouse support with a free update.

For experienced State of Decay players, Undead Labs developed the Breakdown DLC for Xbox 360 users. The new DLC increases the difficulty in all aspects including zombie lethality and vehicle scarcity. Undead Labs has yet to announce a PC release for the Breakdown DLC.

State of Decay launches on Steam November 5th for $19.99.
