People Can Fly, the developer of Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgment has been renamed Epic Games Poland and is now working on Fortnight according to a statement given to PixelEnemy.
A spokesperson for Epic commented:
“We’ve changed the studio’s name from People Can Fly to Epic Games Poland. We’re a global company with talented people working toward one goal across the world. We think this helps better reflect that.”
In addition, it was confirmed that the studio was working on the zombie survival title – which sees players gather supplies during the day to build a fort capable of holding off the undead at night – but does not currently have launch platforms or a release date.
The developer noted that, “Multiple Epic studios, including Epic Games Poland, are working on Fortnite.”
Epic Games Poland are looking for an associate producer and a concept artist. The studio was fully acquired by Epic in August 2012 having possessed a majority share since 2007.
The acquisition led to the departure of studio founders Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski, and Michal Kosieradzki.
