iD Software took to Twitter this morning to announce that they have decided to officially delay their highly anticipated shooter title, DOOM Eternal, to early 2020.
The news comes as a surprise to most as the game was set to release next month. However, it seems that the developers want to ensure the perfect experience for the highly anticipated sequel and don’t want to screw it up on launch day. In addition to the delay, they also noted some of the new features that will launch with the game with its new release date, which is March 20, 2020.

Bethesda and iD Software has been kind of quiet on the game, but no one really expected it to get delayed. However, a delayed game is better than a broken game, so you can’t complain too much.
