Bethesda Delays DOOM Eternal to March 20, 2020

October 8, 2019 by Jordan Biazzo

At least it’ll be 100 percent ready by March!

iD Software took to Twitter this morning to announce that they have decided to officially delay their highly anticipated shooter title, DOOM Eternal, to early 2020.

The news comes as a surprise to most as the game was set to release next month. However, it seems that the developers want to ensure the perfect experience for the highly anticipated sequel and don’t want to screw it up on launch day. In addition to the delay, they also noted some of the new features that will launch with the game with its new release date, which is March 20, 2020.

Check out the official statement from iD Software down below:

Bethesda and iD Software has been kind of quiet on the game, but no one really expected it to get delayed. However, a delayed game is better than a broken game, so you can’t complain too much. DOOM Eternal is set to launch for the Ps4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia on March 20, 2020. How do you feel about the sudden delay? Let us know in the comments below!
