Well in advance of its release, we have for you a list of Call of Duty Ghosts Weapon Statistics. The list is up on Google Docs and is constantly being updated. You can get a sneak peek at what weapons you can play with days before the game comes out here. We have some interesting observations outside the scope of the document below
Fans are making interesting observations from the information shared so far. At the very top, they observe that Burst Rifle does two hit kills, the Ameli is a two hit kill light machine gun, MTAR-X defies its classification in the small machine gun category, capable of long range and 4 hit kills, FADs demonstrating the best AR. Most important of all, MTAR with rapid fire does not seem to have any recoil increase. This means this may be the best gun in the game.
Furthermore, it seems some weapons have integrated attributes and attachments. Silencers have been integrated into the VKS, K7, Honey Badger and SVU. The Chain SAW and ARX-160, in the meantime, have laser sights integrated in. ARX-160 also has less recoil for the first seven shots.
The CBJ-MS’ additional ability is armor-piercing, allowing it to hit juggernaut armor and other armor with extra damage. The USR sniper rifle, in turn, has a recoil compensator for the first round of consecutive kills. The TAC 12 has smart choke, making it as accurate as the slug KSG from Black Ops 2, and the .44 magnum is one hit kill at close range.
To sum, as one commenter replied, all guns being overpowered means no gun is overpowered. All the guns have their merits in particular situations, and will have to be tested in combat situations before they can be rated from best to worst.
Call of Duty Ghosts will be available on November 5 on Playstation 3, Wii U, Windows and Xbox 360, on November 15 for Playstation 4, and on November 22 for Xbox One.
