Back when the Ratchet and Clank movie was announced it was also revealed that an animated direct-to-video adaptation of Heavenly Sword was in the works and now that production has its first trailer which you can see below.
The movie stars Anna Torv, Alfred Molina, and Thomas Jane. Torv, who reprises her role as Nariko from the game, is probably best known for playing FBI agent Olivia Dunham in Fringe.
Molina has appeared in Spider Man 2, Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Jane starred in 2004's The Punisher.
Heavenly Sword, the game, was developed by Ninja Theory and was released exclusively for PS3 in 2007. While fans would most likely prefer another game as least the movie is keeping the series alive.
