The Sony PlayStation State of Play streams are much like a Nintendo Direct. Instead of featuring a big conference at E3 this year, Sony opted to deliver new ways to unveil what is coming down the pipe and that includes through State of Play videos. We haven’t received too many of these videos so far, but in the past Sony has used it to unveil new video game announcements and features coming out within the near future.
Today a State of Play is scheduled for 1:00 PM PT / 4:00 PM ET. We don’t know what all is being featured in the State of Play for September 2019, but there will apparently be some type of footage unveiled for the highly anticipated Naughty Dog release and PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Last of Us Part II. Also, Sony did state in their PlayStation Blog that there are no plans of unveiling anything in particular for the next-generation platform.
We’re sure that there will be plenty of content packed in the twenty-minute show but if you happen to miss the stream, we’ll include the footage where you can watch at your leisure. Furthermore, we’ll include a recap of what all was featured in the stream. In the meantime, while we wait for the stream to begin, we would like to hear what you would personally want to see featured during this month’s State of Play.
