There are a few big events happening today. Sony is holding a State of Play along with a media-only event featuring The Last of Us Part II. Microsoft is also joining in on the fun with Inside Xbox, a similar stream event that will showcase new details of what’s to come down the road. We expect plenty of content packed in and this will likely give some insight as to what we could see showcased during the upcoming XO19 event that is taking place in London this November.
While we are still waiting for the stream to go live, we do know that there are a few highlights that are said to be present in some capacity. For instance, we know that there will be highlights on The Outer Worlds, Afterparty, Xbox Game Pass, and the upcoming Project xCloud.
We’re sure there will be some other details unveiled as well, though we’re certainly curious if this will lead to anything in regards to the next-generation platform. It’s hard to believe we are already gearing towards the end of this generation of video game consoles, but we’re still left with a ton of questions as to what we can expect for the next-generation systems.
Right now, you can expect Inside Xbox to take place at 11:00 PM BST or 6 PM EST. We’ll have an embed to the stream above where you can watch it live.
