According to a press release posted on Consumer Electronics Showcase's website, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai will deliver the opening keynote on January 7th, the opening day of the show.
“Sony is a global brand synonymous with innovation and cutting-edge technology,” noted Consumer Electronics Association president and CEO Gary Shapiro. “There is no better way to kick off the world’s greatest innovation event than a keynote from one of the leading brands in the industry, bringing content and technology together to transform the way we live, work and play. We are thrilled to welcome Kaz Hirai to the 2014 CES keynote stage and are excited to hear his insight surrounding the next generation of consumer technology.”
Hirai's CES address will be part of the Tech Titan series of talks wherein CEOs from top technology companies present their vision on products and services that will shape the next wave of innovation.
CES 2014 will run from January 7th to the 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
