Developer Naughty Dog and its director — Neil Druckmann took to Twitter this morning to announce that their highly anticipated title — The Last of Us 2 will be showcased at the upcoming Sony State of Play event next week – -September 24th.
This is super exciting news as we have not heard from the developers for quite some time and according to Neil Druckmann, that’s all about to change. There’s no word on what will be shown at the event, but presumably, we will see some new gameplay at least and perhaps a release date/ release window? Time will have to tell.

The event will air Tuesday, September 24 at 1:00pm Pacific Time / 4:00pm Eastern Time and it will apparently be stacked with a ton of great news. Sony promising new game reveals new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios and a host of other updates.
