Call of Duty: Mobile is the same multiplayer style Call of Duty action but through your mobile devices. This is being developed by Tencent Games and while it’s been in beta since July in select markets, we now know that the game will find its official launch in October of this year. If you’re wanting some more Call of Duty action while on-the-go then this might be your best option and best of all, it’s free-to-play, but you can still expect in-game currencies to deal with.
Within Call of Duty: Mobile players will find the same multiplayer action that is similar to the mainline installments released on both consoles and the PC platforms. Likewise, you will find the traditional battle royale mode that we’ve seen become a popular game mode as of late.
We’re eager to see how the game handles when it launches as it offers a traditional style gameplay action. It’s quite exciting to see how far smartphones have come to bring a game franchise that has been a staple franchise for generations now, but it’s good to be cautious as we’re not sure just how big of an influence it will become as the game officially launches on October 1, 2019.
While we wait for its official release on both iOS and Android operating systems, you can check out the official release announcement trailer for the game embedded above along with the reveal trailer below.
