The contents of the limited and collector’s edition of upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title Infamous: Second Son was revealed earlier today on PlayStation’s official blog.
The limited edition comes with a unique foil cover and a DLC that uncovers the events between Infamous 2 and Infamous: Second Son called Cole’s Legacy. Cole MacGrath would not be a playable protagonist in this DLC, but it is still unknown if he will cross paths with Delsin Rowe.
Players who have already pre-ordered the game will automatically be upgraded to the limited edition of the game.
As for the collector’s edition, Cristian Cardona, associate product marketing manager, detailed its contents:
“The Infamous: Second Son Collector’s Edition contains everything you need to get into the Infamous universe. This beautiful, very limited collector’s edition contains a copy of Infamous: Second Son, an exclusive cover, exclusive in-game vest, a replica of Delsin’s beanie, a set of pins, decals, a DUP patch, and Cole’s Legacy DLC!” he wrote.
Cardona also added that they are still working on the digital pre-orders, and will share information once they have that figured out. The exclusive content for the limited and collector’s edition won't be locked down to a specific retailer. Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are some of the retailers mentioned that offer these editions.
Infamous: Second Son will be released on February 2014 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The limited edition is priced at $59.99, while the collector’s edition costs $79.99.
