OtherSide Entertainment is currently hard at work developing System Shock 3 and today they decided to offer players a look at the game with new pre-alpha gameplay. It’s looking to shape into another highly anticipated action RPG that we can’t wait to get our hands-on. After System Shock 2 released all the way back in 1999 and years later, we’re finally going to get a continuation of the game. While it’s still a good ways away before its ready to release, take a look at the latest gameplay demo footage embedded above.
System Shock 3 will still put players against Al Shodan and the various hostile creatures that inhabit the area. This gameplay footage offers a look at not only the environments players will be able to explore, but the combat and enemy designs. Of course, we don’t have a release date of when we can actually get the video game from the marketplace.
This has been a long running video game development cycle and it could be confused with the remake video game title known simply as System Shock that’s launching from Nightdive Studios next year, 2020. At any rate, we do know that System Shock 3 is slated to release for this generation platforms which are PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
